Community Advisory Council

Policies or activities approved by the Community Advisory Council (CAC) are not binding on AGDC, nor does AGDC take any actions on behalf of the Council. The CAC is a volunteer group of individuals interested in bringing gas to Alaskans. The CAC was established in June 2012 and CAC objectives include:

  • Educate Alaskans about AGDC’s gasline initiatives.
  • Collect and distribute project-related information to Alaskans.
  • Identify potential project development impacts to communities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide feedback and communication between the public and corporate management.

Participation in the Council is voluntary. AGDC provides no compensation to council members, nor does AGDC reimburse members for expenses incurred from their participation in council activities.

The CAC typically meets monthly and meetings are open to the public. For questions about CAC activities or to get involved, please contact Tim Navarre or Jason Mayrand.
